I've had to report litterally every other post in this thread for either
a) trolling
b) flamebaiting
c) spamming
d) not following forum rules (ie, just /notsigned with no comment is against sardaliec rules)

Can a mod just close this?

'tis a lost cause my friend. It will burn itself out and get closed like all the other ill-named threads here. Someone else said it, but it would have been better named "Quit f*cking up VoD" and probably would have been an actual thread in a the GvG forum area.

Until then, either watch and be amused, or quit watching because you are disgusted.

Yes, please stop terrible updates that just RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up the game, regardless of the aspect of it that it effects. There is the saying don't fix what isn't broken; don't break what is broken worse.

Can a mod please move this to Gladiators Arena: Guild Battles?

I only posted it here because thats where I thought I had the best chance of it being seen by devs... obviously it isn't accomplishing anything

As for the people who incite flame wars by posting about something they know nothing about and then want the thread closed when people question the validity of their opinion... need I say more?

You are the one posting flame bait by saying that I (and nice, thinly veiled avoidence of my name, who else could you possibly be talking about) "know nothing about." I probablly have just as much, if not more, GvG experience then you.

You are complaining about an update that hasn't even been out for 2 weeks. Don't tell me you and your guild have been able to run through every possible strategy and adaptation in that time. I suggest you actually try to figure out how to work within the new system, rather then just mindlessly ask for a revert. Is in the new system perfect? Hell no. Is it possible to get used to it and work around it? Possitively.

Are you serious? And by experience you obviously mean rank N/A gvg? You're guild isn't on the ladder, yet you claim to have more gvg experience than me. No one I've talked to that plays high level gvg is happy with the VoD update. If a majority liked it, I'd agree that the rest should just live with it.

Here's a good example of how ridiculous ViO is:
I've seen this happen more than once. A team will suicide into the other team's base, full teamwipe, just hoping to get one archer. When one archer is that critical to the outcome, it just doesn't make sense.

I have already had to delete and edit people's posts in this thread and now there's just more to tidy. I thought about salvaging it, but that would involve me deleting literally half the posts, and editing a few more.

So I'll tell you what, why don't you repost the thread in the Gladiator's Arena forum and just start fresh. When you do, I suggest you try to sound less peevish; you might illicit more sympathy that way. Mean time, I'm closing this thread. I tend to agree with Hawk here. Whenever there's any sort of update, there is always someone coming onto the suggestion forums to complain about it. Such threads have historically never, ever gone well. Most end up closed just from the usual backlash of snippy forum posters followed by snippy rebuttles.
